Hullo everybody! Today I'm gonna let you delve deep into my life, something I don't often share.
My father... a steadfast, strong, intelligent and awe-inspiring person who can captivate an audience of hundreds of people with only a few words. He can can command respect and garner it as quick as he gives it to those who deserve it. He has devoted his life to serving the people in his community, and has always asked that his sons be better than he.
He has taught me many things, and often speaks in riddles and quotes. What may seem silly or indiscernible at first proves to be a wonderful piece of advice after a year or two. His whole life was based on sacrifice and a code of honor... And I'm trying to adopt it to myself. "If not me, then who?" the mind set, the mentality that I must adopt to survive and thrive in the world. I am committing myself, my mind, my body and my soul into serving my country and everyone in it. I cannot do it without the right mentality and I thank my father for everything I have and everything he told me that I still don't quite get.
First things first: I LOVE YOUR BLOG!! So fun and entertaining... xD
ReplyDeleteSecondly, I think it's great that you think so highly of your father. In this day and age, I feel it's important to fall back on good family values, and it sounds like you've got a great family
I think this is great! You'e dad sounds like a great man(: and I can relate because my dad shares some of those traits!! I also love that your dad's influence has led you to want to help not only people, but your country!
ReplyDeleteWoah, not that many people who think so highly of their father. Glad to see someone who has such a healthy relationship with their dad. That, and fish. I cannot tell you how many times I clicked on the fish.
ReplyDeleteTucker,
ReplyDeletei think it is really important to have a strong, righteous figure to set the example and it is really cool that that person is you Dad. I can relate to you because my Dad as well encourages me to support myself in the world and to be a smart and strong role model for whoever looks towards me, especially my little sisters.
Wow. Its great to see the kind of impact your dad has on you. I had no idea. Also it's very well written like even though you make fun of blogging, you're really good. You wrote it so it feels like a conversation.
ReplyDeleteThe way you describe your father deffinitly shows your respect for him and your admiration. To have somebody in your life who has motivated you to an extent that you also wish to adapt that "code of honor" is pretty special and shows not only your moralls but also your family values. I really liked your blog and it deffinitly reflects your personality and attitude.
